Services and Solutions
We design and build custom equipment used for testing, quality control and assembly.
Engineering Design
At Dirks Instruments we offer a comprehensive range of engineering solutions to meet our customers needs. From initial concept to finished design, to helping your company get over the final hurdles to finish a product design, to working with you to improve you current design for ease of manufacturing or added capabilities, we are here to support in whatever way is needed. Whether you require full-service assistance or just a helping hand, we can provide precisely the level of support you need.
Test Equipment
We design and manufacture test equipment for a wide range of applications. These can include portable test devices for use in field testing of equipment, equipment used to simulate real world use cases of devices to aid in the development of new products, or assembly testing that is used as a QA check for WIP or finished goods. We are able to provide standalone hardware as well as test equipment with PC based software and data recording.
Automation Equipment & Fixturing
We provide equipment that is used to automate and speed up repetitive assembly tasks. We also design and manufacture fixtures that are used for work-holding during assembly tasks, or for in-process testing.
Manufacturing & Assembly
We offer low volume manufacturing and assembly, including mechanical assembly as well as some PCB assembly. We are able to make prototype parts using our CNC mill, or 3D print simple prototype parts as well.
We also have relationships with other companies who offer additional manufacturing capabilities for prototyping and production manufacturing.
